A Writing Life—In transition

 

I’m back in my home in Santa Fe following my teaching gig at the Yale conference. (Here’s the view from my front door the first morning I woke up in my house!) And now I am getting on to the business of being a writer working on a beloved manuscript. But first! I must finish getting settled in my new home.

I had to jump up, pack a bag, and dash for the airport only a few weeks after moving in, but you can be sure that before I went I unpacked my books and set up the start of my office.

I am continuing the unpacking now—there are still so many boxes!
